Ways I Can Help You

01

Emotional & Mental Healing

You can be dealing with uncertainty on why you might burst into tears at work suddenly, why you had a meltdown in front of family or flew into a rage at your husband at the smallest thing. Adeline can journey with you to understand more about your reactions and emotions in a safe environment. I provide counselling to help with anxiety and panic attacks, struggles with perfectionism and worthiness, support for depression, relational issues, and unhelpful urges or thoughts. I also hope to impart tools in which you can navigate life's challenges on your own subsequently.

02

Existential and Life Issues

You might be feeling empty for sometime and wondering what life's purpose is. You might experience moemnets in which you question about life, wanting to seek clarity and direction. If you experience something similar or asking these questions:
"How can I be my authentic self?"
"What is the meaning of my life?"
"How do I get myself unstuck from this situation?"
We see these moments as windows into ourselves. If left unprocessed, these thoughts continue to gnaw at us. I will be happy to explore and journey with you further in a safe and non-judgemental space.

03

Couple Counselling

We believe that successful relationships are built upon skillful communication and committed action. However there might be times in which we are not able to communicate with our partner and we are here to support you in the couple relationship. It might also be wounds from our past experiences that a partner brings into the relationship that he/she is not aware of.
Here are some areas we might focus on.

What clients say about Adeline

Is Seeking Help a Sign of Weakness?

Seeking mental health support is not a sign of weakness; it is actually a sign of strength and self-awareness. Acknowledging that you need help and taking steps to improve your well-being demonstrates courage and a proactive approach to managing your mental and emotional health. Just as people seek medical attention for physical ailments, seeking help for mental health concerns is a responsible and important action for overall well-being. Reaching out for support can help you develop coping strategies, gain new perspectives, and improve your quality of life. It takes strength to face challenges head-on and work towards positive change, and seeking mental health support is a commendable part of that process.

What can I expect in my first therapy session?

In our first session together, we’ll take the time to get to know you better. I’ll ask questions to understand your concerns and discuss your goals for therapy. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions you might have about the therapy process. Together, we’ll work to establish a comfortable and trusting relationship.

The frequency of sessions depends on your needs and goals. We usually recommend starting with weekly sessions, especially in the beginning, to build momentum and address concerns more effectively. As you progress, we may move to bi-weekly or monthly sessions based on what feels right for you.

Therapy is a personal journey, and progress can look different for everyone. You might notice changes in how you think, feel, or behave, or you might find that you’re better able to cope with challenges. We’ll regularly check in on your goals and progress to ensure therapy is meeting your needs.
